When the first discussions of the the creation of the Tuxedo Network happened. The main goal was to have a survival server we can always come back to and play. This goal has been achieved and more!
Some standards for the network were also established.
- No micro transactions / everything is earned by playing
- Invite only whitelist
What features were included at launch?
- a hub server
The hub server was setup to future proof the design of the server. This way we can continue to add more servers to the network without a overhaul later down the line. This also forced us since the beginning to use plugins that are compatible with the idea of a server network.
a few things you can do on the hub server since the beginning is, cookie clicker and paintball.
- a customized survival server
The survival server had a goal in mind. Start playing now, but have a small area to play in using a world border to keep us contained. That way when a future update comes out, we can increase the size of the world border to get new world generation. This has a few negatives, like having to buy things not available in the world in the in-game shop. But with future world border expansions, the fun in that might outweigh the negatives.
